2.8.4.4 Configuration Default Port VLAN ID
There are 4 modes to select for 802.1q Tag VLAN Mode:
Disabled:
It ignores all setting below and Tagged packet. This setting depends on Port
Based VLAN.
Fallback:
If receive a packet without Tag, the packet follows up the setting of
Tagging
. If
receive a Tagged packet, the packet follows up the previous setting of VLAN
table.
When VLAN table exists, the packet will follow up the VLAN table. If not, the
packet broadcasts and follows up Port Based VLAN.
Check:
If receive a packet without Tag, the packet follows up the setting of
Tagging
. If
receive a Tagged packet, the packet follows up the previous setting of VLAN
table.
When VLAN table exists, the packet will follow up the VLAN table. If not, the
packet drops.
Secure:
The function is the same with
Check
. Additionally, if the packet from Ingress
port does not belong to one of VLAN table, the packet drops.
