Infrared Connector JP7
JP7 connects to an optional infrared add-in controller.
Infrared controllers can act as ports for a number of
peripheral devices including mouse, printer and keyboard.
ON/OFF Switch Connector J25
The chassis’ power ON/OFF switch connects to the
motherboard through J25. The ON/OFF switch can be
configured, through the BIOS, to provide either instant ON/
OFF or Delayed ON/OFF capabilities.
Delayed ON/OFF lets you use the ON/OFF switch to place
the system in Suspend Mode. Simply press the switch quickly
and release. To power down the system with, press and hold
the switch for four seconds. Refer to the Configuration
Utilities section, Chipset Features subsection.
