Install two (2) AA batteries inside the CT-711 transmitter
Match the polarity markings (+ and -) on the batteries with the polarity
markings (+ and -) inside the battery compartment
Leave the battery compartment open and move on to the next step
Select battery type
Locate the power button on the side of the CT-711 transmitter to the left of the
LCD screen
Press and hold the power button until something appears on the LCD screen.
The default display when the unit arrives to you brand new is as follows:
Press and release the SET button twice in order to enter the battery selection
menu. Use the up or down button to move the arrow on the screen next to the
appropriate battery type.
Note that only alkaline or nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) batteries may be
installed inside the CT-711 transmitter. Installing any other battery type may
cause damage, physical harm, and/or fire.
Attempting to charge the CT-711 transmitter with any battery type other than
nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) may result in damage, physical harm,
and/or fire.

Select “NiMH” for nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) batteries or “AKLN” for
alkaline batteries
Once you have selected the appropriate battery type, release all buttons and
wait for the default screen to appear
Select transmission channel/frequency
Press and release the SET button once in order to enter the channel/frequency
selection menu. The following is the default display of the channel selection
menu when the CT-711 transmitter arrives to you brand new:
Press and release repeatedly (or press and hold) the up or down button to
scroll through the available channels. Stop scrolling once you reach your
desired channel.
Release all buttons and wait for the default screen to appear. As an example,
we selected Channel 001 and the following screen appeared a few seconds
after we released all buttons:
Note that availability of channels/frequencies is subject to frequency traffic
and/or regulations in your area.
