Whenever the battery begins to draw more than 100 mA out of the power supply (eg when the power
supply is first turned on or a battery is connected), the power supply measures the initial battery
current. The initial battery current is used to estimate how long the battery will need to be Boost
charged for. After Boost charging the battery for the estimated time (3-10 hours,
