Check: If a hard drive with Commodore’s Fast File System is used, a

Check: Jumper Block

for the jumper in position 2. (This is preset at the factory
and is satisfactory for most memory access speeds).
Fix:
Set jumper block

Check: CSA-MMR program is present in the start-up sequence and is properly adding
SROM, SRAM and DRAM if they are installed.

Symptom:
CSA RAM test consistently fails at address 02100000.
Check:
JP2
on the DRAM board should be set so that pins 2 and 3 are shorted.
Fix:
Set
JP2
so that pins 2 and 3 are shorted together. (See User ’s Manual,
Section 8, p. 15, “Jumper Settings”).
QUICK SYSTEM CHECKS:
Select the “68020 ANALYZER” ICON if using a coprocessor and “68000 ANALYZER” if no
coprocessor is installed. Run program number 2. The results should be:
