cGas Detector Digital Transmitter  - Installation Manual

 

Test Relay:SB
Untripped

 

Test Relay:SB
>Tripped

To stop the relay test, Press ENTER and the UP button to change to Untripped. 
Press ENTER. You will hear a soft click and the relay will deactivate.

 

Test Relay:SB
>Untripped

When fi nished, press ENTER and then UP to Exit.

8 MODBUS & BACNET CONFIGURATION

The cGas Detector can be changed from Modbus® to BACnet® or vice versa 
in the fi eld. 

8.1 Changing Digital Communication Type in the Field

When the communication type is changed from/to Modbus® or BACnet®, the 

device will reset. This will briefl y interrupt communications on the network it is 
connected to.

From the main display, press ENTER.
Enter passcode 1001 using the UP button and ENTER button.

 

    Enter Password
        1001

Press ENTER to access the Basic Menu.

 

     Basic Menu
     Press Enter

 

Comm Type
MODBUS

Press ENTER. Use the UP or DOWN buttons to choose MODBUS or BACNET or 
Cancel. Press ENTER. If you have changed the communication type, the device 
will display Reset Device.
