You cannot enter a number higher than 100. Entering a value of 000
turns the backlight off completely. With ambient light the text can still be read
on the display.
7.4.2 Display Configurations
The default display set from the factory is normal mode which displays the gas
type, gas reading and gas units for CH1.

The information can be reduced to just the gas type by changing the setting to
the minimal mode display.
