HD-PS401 and HD-PS402 • 31

To set up the

Commands.txt

file, create a text file with the name

Commands.txt

and enter any

one of the following command for the device to perform its action:

Save

Load <firmware or device configuration file name>

Restore

NOTE: The device executes only the first line of the

Commands.txt

file, and commands

are not case sensitive.

Use the

Command.txt

file to perform the following actions:

Save the device configuration file

Load the previously saved device configuration file

Load the device firmware using the file name to upgrade

Factory restore

NOTE: Device shall create

result.txt

file after executing the command in the USB root

directory.

To upgrade the firmware and download the logs:

1. Enable the USB Service Port and plug in the USB device with the firmware file.

2. Press and hold the Setup button for 10 seconds to load the device firmware file from the

USB.

NOTE: Once the firmware upgrade is complete, the device creates a

version.txt

file in

the USB root directory to see the upgrade status.

3. Press the Setup button 10 times with minimum 250 ms and maximum of

5 seconds interval between each press. Setup LED will blink until the logs are downloaded.
