Testing the
Installation
To test the installation:
1. Click
in the task bar;
select
Programs
,
Accessories
,
Multimedia
, and
Media Player
from the menus. The Windows
Media Player appears.
2. Open a wave file, such as THE
MICROSOFT SOUND.WAV,
and select the
Play
(
)
button. You should hear the
wave file being played.
3. Open a MIDI file, such as
CANYON.MID, and select the
Play
(
) button. You should hear the MIDI file being played.
