The Spiral Slide can be mounted on any of the free sides of the Skybox. When choosing a mounting position, ensure that the

Slide does not interfere with other play areas. The slide should never exit into the path of swings. Some steps in assembly
depend on where the Spiral Slide is to be installed. These variations are indicated by a gray border and caption, as shown below.

SteP 1 - Prepare for installation

First step of installation is to remove certain parts from the Skybox.

end mounted Spiral Slide.

Remove the four Wall Slats on the back of the Skybox

adjacent to the Corner Post. The Wall Slats will not be re-

used. Save them for future repairs or replacement. To ease

installation of the slide, remove the four Platform Boards

adjacent to the ends of the opening created. The Platform

Boards will be re-installed later.

Side mounted Spiral Slide.

Remove the five Wall Slats on the side of the Skybox

adjacent to the rear Corner Post. Four Wall Slats will not

be re-used. Save them for future repairs or replacement.

To ease installation of the slide, remove the Narrow

Platform Board adjacent to the opening created. The

Narrow Platform Board will be re-installed later.

Side mounted Spiral Slide. (tent roof Gym only)

The corner adjacent to the side where the Spiral Slide is to

be mounted must be reinforced when the slide is mounted

to a tent roof gym. Temporarily remove the Post Extension

and Short End Wall Support at the side where the Spiral

Slide will mount.
Align the bottom hole in the 6" L-Brace with the hole in the

center of the Post Extension. Drill a 3/8" diameter hole

through the Post Extension at the position of the hole in

the center of the L-Brace. Fasten the L-Brace to the Post

Extension using a 5/16" x 3 Hex Bolt Assembly. Refasten

the Post Extension to the gym Corner post.
