Layout the two Angled Rails (A) approximately
40-1/2" apart. Fasten a Spacer Board (D) to the
top end of the Angled Rails using four #10 x
2-1/2" T25 Screws. The top edge of the Spacer
Board should be 5-1/2" below the top end of the
Angled Rail. Make sure to leave enough space
for the Top Rock Board. The Spacer Board must
be at right angles to the Angled Rails before
fastening.
Drill a 1/8" diameter pilot hole for
each Screw.
Fasten the remaining Spacer Boards and Rock
Boards (C) in the pattern shown in the illustra-
tion, alternating the direction of the holes in the
Rock Boards.
Space the Boards between 1/4"
& 3/8" apart.
In a pinch the shaft of a 1/4" Hex
Bolt or 1/4" Weld Nut can be used as a spacer.
Use four #10 x 2-1/2" T25 Screws to fasten each
board. Leave off the Rock Board at the top of
the Rock Climber until the unit is fastened to
the Playset.
Drill a 1/8" diameter pilot hole
for each Screw.
Attach the Center Rail (B) to the center of the
back of the Rock Boards. Fasten the cleat using
#10 x 2-1/2" T25 Screws from the front of the
rock climber.
Drill a 1/8" diameter pilot hole
for each Screw.
