MAINTENANCE
IMPORTANT:
Failure to keep this vaporizer clean from mineral deposits normally
contained in any water supply will affect the efficiency of the operation. Customer
failure to follow these instructions may void warranty
ALWAYS
DISCONNECT THE PLUG FROM THE ELECTRICAL OUTLET AND ALLOW UNIT TO
COOL BEFORE CLEANING. REMOVE STEAM UNIT, LETTING ALL WATER DRAIN BACK
INTO THE WATER TANK.
DO NOT
ATTEMPT TO DISASSEMBLE THE HEATING ELEMENT. DOING SO WILL VOID
WARRANTY AND COULD DAMAGE THE VAPORIZER OR CAUSE PERSONAL INJURY.
DAILY MAINTENANCE
1.
Always turn off and unplug from outlet before cleaning.
2.
Empty water from the water tank and rinse the water tank thoroughly with water.
3.
Wipe and dry water tank with a clean, dry cloth or paper towel.
WEEKLY MAINTENANCE
1.
Always turn off and unplug from outlet before cleaning.
2.
Empty water from the water tank and rinse the water tank thoroughly with water.
3.
Fill water tank with water and add 2 Tablespoons of white vinegar. Allow to soak
for 20-30 minutes. Empty water tank and rinse with tap water until the smell of
white vinegar is gone. Wipe and dry water tank with a clean, dry cloth or paper
towel.
4.
Ensure that the steam unit is safely unplugged. Soak the steam unit in about 3
½ inches of white vinegar for approximately 10 minutes.
5.
After the steam unit is done soaking, with fingers covering the bottom holes of
the steam unit, add tap water to the steam outlet. Cover steam outlet with
finger from other hand, shake vigorously then empty the water through the
steam outlet. Repeat several times until black particles are no longer emitted
and vinegar odor is gone.
6.
Be sure that steam outlet and water intake holes in the bottom of the steam unit
are open and not clogged.
END-OF-SEASON MAINTENANCE & STORING YOUR VAPORIZER
