OPERATION
BEFORE LEAVING THE SAW

Wait until the saw has come to a full and complete
stop.
n
Place the switch in the
OFF
position, remove the switch
key from the switch assembly. Store key in a safe
place.
n
Unplug the saw from the power source.
n
Make workshop childproof.
n
Lock the shop.

TILTING THE TABLE
See Figure 18.

Loosen the table lock handle slightly.
n
Turn the angle adjustment knob, tilting the saw table
toward the front of the saw housing until it reaches the
desired angle.
n
Using the scale indicator, check angle markings.
n
Retighten the table lock handle to hold saw table securely
in place.
USING THE MITER GAUGE
See Figure 19.
The miter gauge can be turned 45° to the right or left.
n
Loosen the lock knob on the miter gauge.
n
With the miter gauge in the miter gauge slot, rotate the
gauge until the desired angle is reached on the index
scale.
n
Retighten the lock knob.
