Cleaning and Storage
Cleaning & Washing
We recommend that the
Heated Throw
is cleaned as necessary by following
the instructions below:
1. Disconnect the appliance from the Mains Supply and allow to cool down
completely.
2. Disconnect the Controller from the blanket
WARNING: DO NOT
immerse the
Controller, Cord, Mains Lead or
Plug
in water or any other liquid.
3. Wipe the surface of the Controller and Cord with a slightly moistened
cloth. Rub dry with a soft dry cloth.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT
use industrial solvents such as benzene,
iso-propanol, similar solvents or abrasive chemicals as these may
irreparably damage your appliance.
4. Machine washing of the
Heated Throw
is possible. To machine wash,
unplug the Controller, place the blanket in a net bag and seal it. Use a
small amount of detergent and set the washing machine to a “
Delicate
Wash
” with a maximum temperature of 40°C. When washed, remove
the blanket from the net bag and drape it over a clothes line to dry.

wring out the blanket or dry using a tumble
dryer.

iron the blanket

dry the blanket in the sun.

connect it to the mains supply to dry it

use an appliance such as a hair dryer to dry it.
Allow the blanket to dry naturally.
WARNING

use the blanket if it is damp or wet.
