SETTING UP YOUR DYNA-CUT
DELIVERY TRAY SENSOR SET UP
In order to have the delivery tray properly advance you need to insure
the optic sensor is set for your media. To set place a piece of your media
on the table under the sensor. When properly set the orange light will
come on and advance the belts until the media clears the sensor.
The sensor is a laser diffuse contrast sensor for low contrast detection
application. It is also able to be set for dark operate or light operate. If
you are running media that is darker then the belt of the delivery tray
you will need the sensor in dark operate while if you are running media
that is lighter then the belt of the delivery tray you will need to be in
light operate. To switch between light and dark operate first hold down
the mode button for longer then 2 seconds. Then use either button to
cycle through the menu. Cycle until the display reads (out) then press
both buttons at the same time. The display will now read (Lo) or (do).
(Lo) Stands for Light Operate and (do) for Dark Operate. Use either
button to cycle between the two options when you have selected the
Operate that you need hold down both buttons this will save your
selection and exit the menu.
To set the sensitivity of the sensor clear the table then hold the Teach
button down until the display flashes SEt and 1

alternately then press
the teach button to set the table as the first target. The display will now
alternate between SEt and 2

. Place your media underneath the sensor
and press the teach button again this sets your media as the second
target. If set correctly now when the sensor sees your media the orange
light on the sensor with come on and the belts will advance until your
media clears the sensor.
