13. GUARANTEE
As required by current legislation, the company COSDEP di Vighesso Onorio sas, guarantees this product for two years from
the date of purchase, against manufacturing defects and defects in the materials used to build it.
The liability of COSDEP di Vighesso Onorio sas is limited to provision of the appliance, which must be installed correctly by
the specialised technician appointed by the seller, who will assume liability for final installation and the consequent correct
operation of the installed product, after following the instructions contained in the handbook and in compliance with current
legislation and standards.
Failure to respect said precautions will relieve COSDEP sas of all liability. Appliances installed in public places are subject to
special regulations.
WARNING
Operational tests on the product must be carried out before finishing off any necessary building work. COSDEP sas will not
be liable in any way for any damage and consequential expenses for restoring finishes as above, also should said damage
result from replacement of faulty parts.
COSDEP sas guarantees that all its products are made of top quality materials using manufacturing methods that guarantee
total efficiency. Should defective or malfunctioning parts should be found during normal use of said products the parts will be
replaced free of charge by the retailer who sold the product or ex- the servicing centre for the area.
For products sold outside Italy said replacements will also be made by the retailer and charged to the foreign distributor and
the servicing centre nominated by the distributor.
VALIDITY
The guarantee will remain valid on condition that:
1. The purchaser completes all parts of the attached form and posts it within 10 days of the date of purchase. The date of
purchase must be confirmed by a valid receipt to be issued by the seller.
2. The appliance has been installed by specialist technical personnel.
3. The installer confirms that the product has been successfully tested after installation.
4. The appliance has been used according to the instruction handbook supplied with the product.
The guarantee does not apply to damage caused by:
1.
Weather conditions, chemicals, electro-chemicals, improper use of the product, lack of maintenance, modifications or
tampering with the product, ineffective and/or inadequate chimney flue and/or other causes independent of the product.
2. Overheating of the stove caused by the use of improper fuel that does not comply with the specifications given in the
instruction handbook.
3. All damage due to transport, therefore we strongly recommend the purchaser to check the goods carefully on arrival and
immediately inform the seller of any damage, also noting the damage on the transport document.
The guarantee excludes all parts subject to normal wear and tear:
This includes:

The painting, seals and gaskets, all ceramic or hardened glass, cast iron or ironker casings and grilles, painted, chrome-
plated or gold-plated parts, majolica, handles and electric cables.

Colour variations, crazing and slight differences in the size of parts in majolica may not be contested as they are natural
features of the materials themselves.

Building works.
The guarantee excludes any adjustments or regulations to the product on the basis of the type of fuel or the type of
installation.
This guarantee is valid only and exclusively for the first buyer and may not be transferred.
Should certain parts be replaced the guarantee will not be extended.
There will be no compensation for the period when the product was not working efficiently.
This is the sole valid guarantee for the product and no one is authorised to give any other in the name or on behalf of
COSDEP sas.
REPAIRS UNDER GUARANTEE
The request for repairs should be made to the retailer.
Repairs under guarantee will be made without charge as per the legislation in force.
LIABILITY
COSDEP sas will not be liable for any direct or indirect damage caused by or depending on the product.
PLACE OF JURISDICTION For any dispute the place of jurisdiction will be the court of Vicenza
