AC Cable Replacement
for 230VAC Units
If a power cord becomes frayed or damaged, it may be replaced by simply pulling it
out of the power entry module connector and replacing it with a new cord, as shown
in Figure 56.

Disconnect the AC and Ground connections to the E-Box terminals. (See Fig-
ure 55.)
4 Remove the strain relief and route the cable down through the unit.
5 Replace the cable with new wiring. (be sure strain relief is properly seated)
6 Route the new wiring from the bottom of the unit following the old wiring path.
7 Connect the new wiring to the proper terminals in the E-Box.

Connect the wiring to the protected circuit or plug the plug into the proper
receptacle. Verify the proper operating voltage before connecting the unit.
