Install Wiring Guard - Narrow Rows Only

Use HT

Wire guard

Remove snout from header.
3.
Remove the two bolts holding the cover
4.
Position wire guard so that tube is as close to
the wall of the welded triangle as possible.
•
Mark location of wire guard tube
5.
Drill

” hole through cover & sheet metal inside triangle.
•
New heads may already have the hole in place
•
De-burr hole for wire protection
6.
Install wire guard so that tube is as close to the
wall of the welded triangle as possible.
7.
Secure wire guard to header using preexisting
hardware (bolts indicated by arrows).
8.
Reattach snout to header.
9.
Mark underside of snout directly above
tube when snout is lowered.
10.
Drill

” hole through sheet metal and poly of snoot.
