Getting Started

Enabling the Amplifier

On the pendant board, set the

Enable

switch

to the down position. (This is the default fail safe

mode; if the line is cut, the amplifier is disabled.)

. Observe that the amplifier's

Status

indicator turns

solid green.

Initiate a Move with the Pendant

. Observe the

Amplifier Status Now!

screen. Make

sure all the indicators

Communications, Amp

and

Enable

are green. (If they are not, see

the section called

Amplifier Status Now!

screen in

Chapter 5).

You can initiate a move by switching the desired

preset on the pendant. (Refer to the Application

Note that you received with the development kit.)
