Step 7
Make the electrical connections.
See diagram for proper wiring. Use UL wet location rated
connectors. The ground shown going to the fixture requires
2 connections. Connect a lead to the mounting base with
the green, self-tapping, ground screw provided. Torque
the ground screw to 5 in-lbs. The luminaire ground wire
also needs to be connected to the earth ground from the
foundation. (Figure 6 & 6a.)

Step 6
Tighten the mounting brackets.
Adjust the mounting brackets such that both feet of each
bracket are close to equally spaced from the housing.
Examples of good and poor installations are shown. Torque
the socket head cap screws to 5 ft-lbs. Check for plumb.
Check that the bracket feet are still roughly the same
distance from the housing. Loosen and restart step 5 if
necessary. Final torque the socket head cap screws to
20 ft-lbs. (Figure 5a & 5b)
