For an attached down tube battery:

For a luggage carrier battery:
• From above, place the luggage carrier bat-
tery

onto the luggage carrier mount.
• Push the luggage carrier battery

down,
until the fastener on the underside of the
luggage carrier battery snaps into place.
For an attached down tube battery or luggage carrier battery:
• Push in the opened batter lock

with one finger.
The battery lock

will snap shut with an audible click.
