17. Expansion Slot
The expansion slots of this product can used as follows; one slot for a PCI-Express(x16) bus-type
expansion card, one slot for a PCI bus-type expansion card, and two slots for a PCI-Express(x4) bus-
type expansion card.

You may not be able to install expansion cards that use card edge connector tails (the parts in
the figures that are filled in).

PCI bus uses 32bit.

This product might be frozen when using the expansion slot. If that is the case, follow the
settings described below. (If you are using the bundled recovery media, the following
procedure is unnecessary as the described settings are already set)
Open the Control Panel by right-clicking on the “Start” button. Go to “Hardware and Sound” >
“Power Options” > “Change plan settings” > “Change advanced power settings”, then set the
“Link state power management” off in the “PCI Express”.
