When a Fault Occurs
The Award BIOS supports a feature to override the CMOS settings if you find that the
computer is unable to boot after modifying and saving the system settings using the
Setup program. This resets the system to the default settings.
The best advice for users is to only modify those settings that they fully understand.
In other words, it is strongly recommended that you do not modify the chipset default
settings. These defaults have been carefully chosen by Award and the system
manufacturer to achieve maximum performance and reliability. Making even what
appear to be small changes to the chipset settings may result in the user needing to use
the override function.
