11 Power fail  

 
If the external power to the system is lost the VDR generates a power fail alarm.  
During power failure all input units apart from the audio is shut off in order to 
minimize the battery capacity. 
 
After two hours of power fail the unit shuts off itself. This is done to make sure that if 
the power failure is caused by serious accident the data on the capsule is not 
overwritten.
