Inserting batteries / replacing batteries
The world-band receiver requires 2 batteries "AA-Mignon" 1.5V for
operation! If the sound is not clean or if the volume is reduced, it is
time to replace the batteries!
When replacing the batteries, always make sure that the device is
switched off and the process completed within 30 seconds as, oth-
erwise, all data stored will be lost. This is also the case if you wish to
operate the device with an external plug-in power unit!
Tip: We recommend the use of high-quality batteries for the opera-
tion of your world-band receiver”
Batteries must be kept out of the reach of children.
Always observe the safety instructions! If batteries
are inserted incorrectly, this can lead to destruction
of the device. In this case, you will lose your claim to
warranty.
Never use old and new batteries together and use
only batteries of the same type!
Paying attention to the polarity, insert two new bat-
teries of the same type into the battery compart-
ment!
Make sure that the batteries are not short-circuited,
thrown into the fire or charged! There is risk of
explosion in such cases!
Never try to charge the batteries or to short-circuit
them!
Defect, flat or leaking batteries can cause danger-
ous caustic burning! In such cases always use suit-
able protective gloves

Sender speichern
Mit dieser Funktion können Sie Sender, die Sie entweder durch den
automatischen Sendersuchlauf oder die manuelle Sendersuche
bzw. durch die direkte Sendereingabe eingestellt haben, auf einen
Kanal abspeichern. Pro Kanal CH1-CH6 kann jeweils ein Sender
abgespeichert werden. (6 Kanäle pro Band = 6 x FM, 6 x MW, 6 x
SW1, 6 x SW2 ergibt 24 Speicherplätze)
Drücken Sie, nach dem Sie einen
Sender gesucht haben, die Taste
"Memory" (12) und im Display
beginnt die Anzeige (12) zu blinken.
Drücken Sie nun innerhalb von 5
Sekunden auf der Tastatur (16) die
Tasten 1...6, um damit den gesuch-
ten Sender auf einen Kanal (CH1 –
CH6) abzuspeichern! Im Display erscheint die entsprechende Zahl
(CH1-CH6). Dies bedeutet, dass der Sender unter dem von Ihnen
gewünschten Kanal gespeichert ist.
Haben Sie alle gewünschten Sender gespeichert, können Sie
- mit der Taste (5) das Gerät einschalten
- mit dem Bandschalter (2 oder 6), das gewünschte Band (FM, MW
oder SW1, SW2") auswählen
- durch Drücken Sie auf eine der Tasten 1 …. 6 (Kanal 1 – 6) den
gespeicherten Sender hören.
