because of safety reasons. Never dismantle the product.

• Maintenance, adjustment, or repair work should only be carried out by a

specialist/specialist workshop. There are no components for you to adjust or
maintain within the device.

• The product is not a toy and must be kept out of the reach of children. Store the

product out of the reach of children.

• The product must not get damp or wet as this would damage it

• Avoid bringing into contact with direct sunlight, high temperatures (>35°C) or

extreme cold (<0°C). Keep it away from dust and dirt.

• When transporting the product in a vehicle use a suitable location to avoid the pro-

duct moving when changing speed or direction, and so that it cannot reach the
passenger space (danger of injury!), respectively.

• The cables must not be bent or squeezed.

• Handle the product with care, it can be damaged by impacts, blows, or accidental

drops, even from a low height.

b) Operation

• The product is not suitable for jump starts at deep discharged vehicle

accumulators. The product is intended to give jump starts at weak or exhausted
vehicle accumulators (for example, a vehicle that has wintered in a garage or the
like).

The weak/exhausted vehicle accumulator is to be charged for several minutes via
the jump leads (depending on the accumulator’s condition, between 8 and 32
minutes).

• The product is not suitable as a replacement of a vehicle battery. A vehicle without

a battery must not be started using this product!

• The product is only suitable for vehicles with a 12V on-board voltage.

With on-board power supply systems with other voltage (e.g. 6V or 24V) there is
not only the danger of explosion, but also the risk of damaging all electronic
components of the on-board power system.

• Do not use the product in rooms or in poor ambient conditions where flammable

gases, vapours or explosive dust may be present or are present! There is a risk of
explosion!

• Accumulators of boats or ships must only be charged ashore. Recharging on-

board is only admissible with suitable recharging devices.

• Explosive gases can be generated during the charging lead batteries. Thus, only

re-charge the battery in rooms with good ventilation. Never charge lead batteries
in boxes or containers or in insufficiently ventilated rooms.

• Never try to jump start a vehicle with a frozen battery. There is a risk of explosion!

• Do not pull the mains plug from the cigarette lighter by pulling on the cable.

• Do not operate the product when it is unattended. Failures cannot be eliminated

despite comprehensive and versatile protective circuits.

• Only use the device in a moderate climate, do not use it in a tropical climate.

• Make sure that there is sufficient ventilation during and after operation; do not

cover the product during operation.

• Never use the product immediately after it has been brought from a cold room into

a warm one. The result is the forming of condensation which can not only cause
malfunctions but also a defect of the product.

Wait until the product has reached room temperature, before you use it. This may
take several hours!

• Before a jump start, read the operating instructions of the vehicle about how a jump

start is done. If a jump start is done incorrectly, there is a risk of damaging the
electronic components of the on-board circuit!

c) Accumulator notes

• When using lead batteries, protective clothing and goggles must be worn for safety

reasons.

•  Lead batteries contain aggressive, corrosive acids. Avoid any contact of skin or

eyes with liquids from the lead battery! Never try to take lead batteries apart! Flush
skin areas affected thoroughly with water and soap. If you get acid in your eye,
wash it immediately under running, clean, lukewarm water for at least 10 minutes!
Then consult a doctor immediately!

If you get acid on your clothes, wash them immediately with plenty of water and
soap!

• Never wear rings, necklaces, watches or the like when handling rechargeable

batteries or charging devices. Short-circuiting the contacts on the rechargeable
battery risks burns and explosions!

• Rechargeable batteries must not be short-circuited or thrown into a fire; risk of

explosion and fire!

• Dispose of defected lead batteries environmentally compatibly. Cover the contacts

of the batteries (e.g. with suitable insulation tape) to avoid short-circuits.
