Maintenance and cleaning
Use a clean, dry and soft cloth for cleaning. If the device is very dirty, use a cloth slightly mois-
tened with lukewarm tap water.
Clean the product very carefully; otherwise you may scratch it.
Do not press too heavily on the glass cover, as this can lead to breakage.
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents, cleaning alcohol or other chemical solutions,
since these could damage the casing or even impair operation.
Disposal
a) Product
Electronic devices are recyclable material and must not be disposed of in the house-
hold waste!
Please dispose of the product, when it is no longer of use, according to the current
statutory requirements.
Remove any inserted battery and dispose of it separately from the product.
b) Batteries and rechargeable batteries
As the end user, you are required by law (Battery Regulation) to return used batteries and
rechargeable batteries. Do not dispose of used batteries in the household waste!
Batteries/rechargeable batteries contain harmful materials and are labelled with
the symbol shown to indicate that disposal in the household waste is forbidden.
The symbols of the critical heavy metals are: Cd=cadmium, Hg=mercury, Pb=lead
(marking can be seen on the battery/rechargeable battery, e.g., underneath the
refuse bin symbol shown on the left).
You can return your used batteries/rechargeable batteries free of charge at the official col-
lection points in your community, in our stores, or at places where batteries or rechargeable
batteries are sold!
That way you are fulfilling your statutory obligations and you are contributing to the protection
of the environment.

• The operation is the same for both modes. Therefore, we describe below the operation and
use of the lap time “LP00” only.
• To start the timer, press the key
S2
. “LP00” is shown in the top of the display.
• To time the first lap, press the key
S3
while the stopwatch is running. That way the current
time will be saved as “LP01”. “LP01” is also indicated at the top of the display. Now press the
S1
button to change back to the current display. Then time the second lap. The latter will be
saved as “LP02”. “LP02” is also indicated on the display.
• You can repeat these steps, until “LP09” is shown on the display, in other words, when you
have saved the ninth lap time as “LP09”.
• When you get to the tenth and last lap time, i.e. “LP09” already appears at the top of the dis-
play, you have to press the
S2
key. This will save the last lap time “LP10” and simultaneously
complete the timing.
While the lap time is displayed, the stopwatch continues to run in the background.
• To stop the timing of each time, press the key
S2
.
• Press the
S3
key twice to reset the display to zero and thus delete all stored values. Of course,
prior to that, you have to evaluate the timings under the menu point “CALL” (next chapter).
d) Recalling the split and lap times “CALL”
• After completed timing, press the
S1
key once to switch to the evaluation function “CALL”.
For this purpose, also see chapter “Functions”.
• Here, you can toggle between the stored split and lap times using the
S2
and
S3
key.
The last split time “SP” also represents the total time of the reading.
The lap time “LP—” is the total time of all laps.
e) Alarm function “A1” and “A2”
• If the desired alarm function “A1” or “A2” is not displayed, press the S1 key until this function
is shown. The setting for “A1” and “A2” is identical. For this purpose, also see chapter “Func-
tions”.
• To set the time for the alarm, press the key
S2
. The hour display will start to flash.
• You can now also toggle between the hours and minutes using the
S2
key. While the minute
display is flashing, you can press the
S2
key again to exit the setting mode and to save the
setting.
• With the
S3
key you can change the value of the selected setting.
• With the
S1
key you can exit the setting mode at any time. If no button is pressed for 1 minute,
the setting mode shuts off automatically. The current setting will be saved anyway.
• To enable or disable the alarm, press the
S3
key while the alarm time is shown and no
indication flashes. When the alarm is disabled, the displays shows “OFF”. When the alarm is
enabled, the alarm time is displayed and the alarm icon is shown at the top left.
• If the stopwatch beeps because of the alarm setting, you can stop the alarm using any of the
three keys.
Changing the battery
• If the display does not show anything, the battery has to be replaced.
If you do not have the expertise required to replace the battery, consult a specialist.
• First remove the 6 screws on the back of the stopwatch.
• Then carefully remove the housing cover.
• Now unscrew the single screw that is used to lock the battery holder (white round sticker).
• Carefully remove the battery holder.
• Replace the battery (CR2032). Make sure that the polarity is correct when inserting the new
coin cell. When the stopwatch’s display faces downwards, the plus pole has to point upwards.
• Put the battery holder back in place and fasten it.
If all segments of the stopwatch are displayed continuously after inserting the bat-
tery, perform a reset. To this end, bridge the two contact surfaces below the labelling
“Reset” using a pair of metal tweezers or a paper clip. These contact surfaces are
located on the right, next to the battery holder.
• In a final step, attach the rear housing cover and tighten the 6 screws again.
• Thereby the battery replacement is completed.
