10. Battery replacement
If the range of the provided remote control dwindles, you have to exchange the battery (type: CR2025,
3V/DC).
To ensure a proper battery exchange, proceed as follows:
• Take the remote control and pull out the battery com-
partment as illustrated on the right.
• Remove the spent battery.
• Insert a new battery type CR2025 (3 V/DC) observing
the right polarity (please refer to the imprint on the
back of the remote control) into the battery suppport.
• Carefully slide the battery support back into the
remote control.
11. Maintenance and cleaning
Before cleaning the housing of the surveillance camera and the monitor, separate it from the mains vol-
tage and disconnect the mains adapter from the mains socket.
To clean the outside of the camera and the monitor, a dry, soft and clean cloth is sufficient. For heavier
soiling on the camera, you can moisten the cloth slightly with lukewarm water.
Clean the lens very carefully, you may otherwise scratch it. Do not press too hard on the glass front of
the camera or the monitor's display, as this may break them.
Apart from the described battery change, there are no parts that need to be serviced.
