Can I replace a generic
control unit of an
automation already
installed with control unit
ONE?
The control unit already installed on a
system can be replaced only if you also
replace all the other accessories and
geared operators. In general, this is possible
because a standard automation system has
more than 2 wires for each accessory (so
you can use two wires, normally those that
supply power, for the BUS line connection).
What happens if I assign
the same ID to two
devices (accessories) of
the same family?

for the presence of the impedance terminal
even when using a coaxial cable (do not
leave the coaxial cable without terminal).
Check the charge level of the remote
control batteries (3.0V with a full charge).
What happens if I invert
the “open” limit switch
with the “close” limit
switch?
If you invert the limit switches, the control
unit cannot properly detect the end
of the movement by intercepting the
corresponding limit switch. In this case, the
control unit searches for the mechanical
lock or the maximum stroke saved via
encoder count. This does not generate
malfunctions, but the system loses the
safeties linked to the presence of the limit
switches.
I installed a dual swing

stop the automation?
In the ONE system, use of the limit switches
is not necessary. All operators are equipped
with electronic limit switches with encoder.
In the case of sliding applications (single
operator), there is still the option of using
contact limit switches (electric or magnetic)
only on operator 1 (to provide additional
safety to the application).
Can I use the ONE
system to manage a
double sliding gate?
NO, the Control Unit ONE can not manage
a double synchronized slider.
