Operation Addendum, HPA Control Utility

If the address or connection speed is unknown, it may be 
desirable to run “Advanced Search” from the File Menu 
pulldown. (This may take several minutes as all possible 
addresses and data speeds are polled to find a configuration that 
works.)

4.

Refer to Figure 31. Once connected, set the Unit Address. Each 
amplifier needs a unique address for RS-485 communication. 
(default is normally “A” unless set up as part of a system). If using 
RS232, it will talk to any unit it is directly connected to without an 
address.

The Address choices are A, B,…through Z.
