Replacing Printer Components
9. Close the rear cover.
10. Verify that the power switch of the printer is in the [O] (off) position, then insert the plug of
the power cord into the AC outlet.
11. Turn the printer on by pressing [ I ] on the power switch on the right side of the printer.
Replacing the Transfer Roll
The transfer roll is the electrically conductive rubber roll that transfers the toner image from the
drum onto the paper. The transfer roll wears with normal use, and eventually must be replaced. Use
the following procedure to replace the transfer roll:
