SD Card usage:
It is strongly recommended that you do not use the provided SD Card for other purpose than for the navigator
device. This card contains all the critical files for your navigation software and navigator user settings to run properly.
Also all files are encrypted to this card. Do not format, change files or change directory structure for any reasons.
Storing other files like media, may corrupt your card and render your system inoperable. Do not change SD Card locking
tab or do not lock it otherwise; the navigator will not be able to store user parameter changes.
*** SD Card file corruption is not covered by our Standard Warranty ***
USB compatibility:
1. The product is based on Windows CE 6.0. There may be a connection issue if the USB device is not recognized
by the OS.
2. On rare occasion some USB device might not compatible to the product. Make sure it is formatted with FAT 32
or exFAT file system.
3. The product follows the international USB standard. It does not support any device that consumes over 500mA of
power.
External USB HDD:
1. The file system must be FAT32 or exFAT.
2. Make sure that the power consumption is below 500mA. Use a power adapter if your HDD consumes over the
rated power.
3. Some USB controllers may not be compatible with the product.
Navigation:
1. If you use the navigator for the first time or have not used it for a long time. It may take a long time [Around
(10~30 minutes)] to receive GPS signal.
2. Some vehicles with UV-coating treatment or sun-blocking films or with EMI (Electromagnetic interference) may
not receive GPS data which can cause errors in identify current position.
Safety:
1. Avoid operating your Navigator while driving.
Options:
1. Live Traffic: Your region might not be covered by NAVTEQ RDS Traffic message network. Before purchasing,
please consult this website to ensure coverage by your region.
