ServerNet II Switch has detected link level errors, such as, non-IBC illegal symbols,
IBC symbols out of context, EFIFO overrun, or missing packet status.

Switch snetSwitchSnetID, (snetSwitchName), port
snetSwitchPortErrorStatusIndex has detected snetSwitchLinkErrorCounter link
level errors. Packet level errors are snetSwitchPacketErrorCounter, IBC level
errors are snetSwitchIBCErrorCounter.

The switch name. If no name is defined, this field will be

Indicates the port that detected the error

Indicates the current value of the link error counter
snetSwitchPacketErrorCounter
Contain the packet errors on the same port
snetSwitchIBCErrorCounter
Contain the IBC errors on the same port

Bad Node
Run diagnostics to validate that offending nodes are operating
correctly.
Loose Cable
Check cable connections
Bad Cable
Check for Link error and replace cable
Incorrect Configuration
Switch Configuration may be incorrect. Check EFIFO register to
make sure it is set correctly for cable type/length. Reconfigure
switch if necessary.
Blabbering Node
Run diagnostics to ensure that nodes at both ends of the cable
are communicating properly. Replace if necessary.
