The default threshold for link, packet and IBC errors is 1, which means that a trap is
generated the first time an error is encountered. If you wish to see the trap again, you
must reset the threshold to a number greater than the current count value. For example,
if the current Link Error count is 26 and you want to know when 10 more Link Errors
have occurred, then you need to set the Link Error Threshold level to 36. The error
counters are per port. The trap includes the number of ports that exceeded the threshold.
The counter wraps when they reach 65,535. If you leave the default at 1 and the count
wraps, it will generate the trap again when the count is 1.
