Removal and replacement procedures

4. Remove the two Phillips PM2.0×4.0 screws

 that secure the hard drive to the computer.

5. Use the Mylar tab 

2

 on the hard drive to slide the hard drive 

3

 to the left.

6. Remove the hard drive 

4

 from the hard drive bay. 

7. If it is necessary to replace the hard drive bracket

a. Remove the two Phillips PM3.0×3.0 screws 

1

 from each side of the hard drive. 

b. Lift the bracket 

2

 straight up to remove it from the hard drive. 

Reverse this procedure to reassemble and install the hard drive.
