Adjusting the contrast
If you need to lighten or darken your copy, use the
contrast setting. To adjust the contrast:
1 Press the Menu button until Contrast: appears on the
LCD display.
2 Use the Up and Down arrow buttons to decrease or
increase the contrast. A contrast bar will display the
current contrast value...a smaller bar indicates a lighter
copy, and a larger bar indicates a darker copy.
3 When finished, you can press the Start button to make
your copies, or press the Menu button again to change
additional settings. Press the Cancel button to cancel
the copy operation altogether.
Changing the size
Normally, your copies will be the same size as the
original document (a value of 100%). You may want to
reduce or enlarge your copies. The A3000 can create
copies that are 25% to 400% of the original size.
To adjust the copy size:
1 Press the Menu button until Size: appears on the LCD
display.
2 Use the Up and Down arrow buttons to decrease or
increase the size. Each press of the button will decrease
or increase the size in steps of 1%. Hold the button
down to adjust the size in steps of 10%.
3 When finished, you can press the Start button to make
your copies, or press the Menu button again to change
additional settings. Press the Cancel button to cancel
the copy operation altogether.
