Fixing the DC power cable (GE 300/GE 300WR)
Put the DC power cable into the provided notch.
Attach a cable tie to the DC power cable in a distance of min. 120 mm (4.7 in) to the screw terminal.
Plug in the cable clamp NAK 100.
GE 300 mounting with protection against contact
Protection against contact according to IEC/EN 60950-1: For installation in the operator access area, the
housing cover has to be screwed onto the housing. This applies to following revisions:
GE 300 with revision BB
GEZ 300 with revision AC
GEI 300 with revision AB
GE 300WR with revision BB
Mounting the cover with protection against contact
Place the cover on the Intercom Server and press the cover into its holder. The cover remains in
position due to the plug connection.
Insert the supplied screws into the opening below the push buttons provided on the side of the
Intercom Server (see illustration).
Tighten the screws.
Mounting with protection against contact
ATTENTION: Mounting of snap ferrite
When installing the snap ferrite, make sure that the components between the housings of GE 300 and
GEZ 300 will not be damaged (e.g. in case of vibrations)!
When installing the snap ferrite outside the housing, keep a minimum distance of 20 mm (0.8 inch)
between GE 300 and GEZ 300!
NOTE: Remove screws
The screws for mounting the cover have to be removed before lifting the cover.
