Update and Provisioning

In order to use the new features after the telephone's firmware has been
updated, you often may need to update the PBX firmware (see PBX‘s
Advanced Information).

Distribuir firmware

A new version of the firmware can be distributed from one system telephone
to other system telephones connected to the PBX.

Requirements:

Enabled

Distribuir firmware

check box

Note:

If the check box

Distribuir firmware

is enabled, the distribute.rom

file will, during an update, be automatically created on the corresponding
data storage device.

Current firmware version on the distributing telephone

•

Data storage device inserted into slot of the firmware distributing
telephone with firmware file. The firmware file must be renamed into

distribute.rom
