Art. 20005000 allows monitors and home automation system managers for the ViP system to
be used in Simplebus2 audio/video setups. The ViP monitors/system managers can be used to
receive calls from the external unit and send commands to Simplebus2 devices (self-ignition, call
to main/secondary switchboard, intercom call, actuator control, camera module control, etc.); the
device also offers integration with the SimpleHome home automation system and video entry
phone call forwarding via the Comelit App.
Equipped with 1 Comelit PoE Ethernet port for connection to the ViP monitor and terminals for
connection to the Simplebus2 system.
Art. 20005000 allows use of the Comelit video entry system functions, with the exception of:
Call
divert / Range / Selective intercom / Alarm.
CFP (Floor door call)
: If there are both Simplebus monitors and ViP monitors in the apartment,
connect the CFP to just one Simplebus monitor to receive the call on all monitors.
In relation to the SImplebus2 section of the system, the device should be considered as a separately
powered Simplebus monitor.
ViP monitor addressing
The address of a monitor in a Simplebus system is the address of the apartment preceded by
SBVIP
Examples

If the ViP monitor keypad does not allow the entry of
alphanumeric
codes, proceed using ViP
Manager software.
Addressing Simplebus devices
To allow the ViP monitor to communicate with Simplebus devices connected to the system,
addresses must be assigned, in the ViP monitor directories, in accordance with the table:
