Cognex MVS-8100M Hardware Manual

Preface

This manual describes the Cognex MVS-8100, MVS-8100M, and MVS-8100M+ frame
grabber boards, and has the following sections:

•

Installing the MVS-8100M

on page 9 describes how you configure and install the

8100.

•

Installing Light Control Hardware

on page 23 describes the connection of dynamic

light control modules.

•

MVS-8100 Hardware Description

on page 31 describes the 8100 in detail, including

environmental and power requirements, and mechanical and electrical
specifications. This chapter also describes the electrical interface to the 8100.

The MVS-8100 has been released in several versions. See

Identifying Your MVS-8100
