Care and maintenance
• Check regularly to ensure that no grass and twigs have built up around
the trimmer head.
• Check before every use, that the power trigger and trigger safety lock button are
intact and work properly.
• Clean the exterior of the trimmer with a soft brush or cloth, do not use water,
solvents or polish.
• Make sure that the ventilation slots (10) on the motor housing are clean and free
from contaminants.
• The grass trimmer should be stored in a dry place out of the reach of children.
• The battery should be stored in an ambient temperature of 0–40 °C.
• For long-term storage the battery should be fully charged at least every 6 months.
Troubleshooting guide
The grass trimmer
will not start.
• The battery is discharged.
• Make sure that you have fully depressed both the safety
lock and power trigger.
Poor battery
operating time.
• The battery is not fully charged.
• The battery needs replacing.
The battery does
not charge.
• The mains lead is not securely plugged into the wall socket.
• Check to see if there is power at the wall socket.
• The battery is not correctly inserted into the charger.
• The battery or charger contacts are dirty.
• Note: Unplug the charger from the wall socket before
cleaning the contacts.
• The charger or its cable is damaged.
• The battery is defective and must be replaced.

caused by incorrect waste disposal, the product must be handed in
for recycling so that the material can be disposed of in a responsible
