Taking Photos
When the camcorder is in Photo mode:

Press to take a photo.
The estimated number of available pho-
tos on the memory card is displayed on
the upper right corner of the screen.
Photo Controls
In addition to the key controls described here,
you may tap the icons displayed on the touch-
screen that are described above in Section
“Photo Mode Screen”.

Press Take a photo. (You may also tap the
touchscreen to take a photo.)

Press Increase the zoom level. The zoom level
indicator will appear on the bottom right
of the LCD screen.
The quality of the image will de-
crease as the zoom level increases.
Hold Increase the zoom level quickly.
Press Decrease the zoom level. The zoom
level indicator will appear on the bottom
right of the LCD screen.
Hold Decrease the zoom level quickly.
Press Turn the low-light assist lamp on or off.
Press Switch to Review mode.
Press Change the camcorder mode.
Press Access the photo options menu
