14 Connectors
3.1.4 Accessories connector (ACC)
The Accessories Connector is a combined interface providing support for
NMEA Rx/Tx and audio in/out device.
Use the connector marked
ACC
to connect a SAILOR 6201 Handset or a
SAILOR 6202 Hand Microphone.
The NMEA 0183 provides an interface for reception and transmission of
NMEA sentences. Use of this interface depends on the configuration in
which the Message Terminal is used. See A.2
NMEA for details on approved
sentences. The NMEA Tx interface pins provide GPS related information
when SAILOR 6018 is used in a mini-C configuration.
Use a connection cable with plug, part number 406209-941 or a SAILOR
6209 Connection Box.
