12 Connectors
3.1.1 Option connector (OPT)
The Option connector provide a NMEA 0183 interface for reception and
transmission of NMEA sentences. Use of this interface depends on the
configuration in which the Message Terminal is used. See A.2
NMEA for
details on interface and supported sentences.
NMEA Tx interface pins provide GPS related information when
SAILOR 6018 is used in a mini-C configuration. The rest of the pins are
reserved for future use.
Use connection cable with plug, part number 406209-941 or a SAILOR
6209 Connection Box.
