Ball Nut X-Axis ( Qty. 1 or 2)
1 Turn off the machine and secure it against
being switched on again.
2 Loosen and remove the four screws below
(Fig. 34/2)

If necessary loosen the two screws of the
Energy Chain (Fig. 34/3)
Remove Cover (Fig. 34/1) of the Y-axis.

5 Clean ball screws on the x-axis. (With Y250
and Y500 there is only one spindle)
6 With a paintbrush or a clean rag put grease on
the spindles.

Use a light, resin and acid-free
multifunctional grease.
Drive the machine a few times on the X-axis
so the grease gets distributed evenly.
For the ball screw drive of the Y axis, you
also proceed as explained in Figures 5-8.
Attention:
Risk of health damage by contact with oil and grease!
Contact with oil and fat can lead to health damage.

Avoid skin contact.
