3. Push the

ounting knobs (12) until the
bolt heads locate into the keyholes, then
slide the extended baseplate until the bolts
locate against the ends of the keyhole
slots. Tighten the knobs fir
m
ly.
4. To fit the fence (14)
loosen the fence
knobs a few turns
and slide the fence
along the tracks on
the base. Lock at the
desired setting by
tightening both fence knobs.
When routing trenches so
m
e distance in
fro
m
an edge, fit the fence to the long end
of the base.
When
perfor
m
ing
edge work with a
non-bearing guided
cutter fit the fence
to the short end of
the base.
If using a very large dia
m
eter cutter it
m
ay
be necessary to fix wooden blocks to the
fence faces via the screw holes, to ensure
the cutter does not contact the fence.
Circle Cutting
1. Fit the extended base (without fence) to
the router.
2. Re
m
ove the pivot
m
ount fro
m
the
base and fix it to the
centre of your work
using a s
m
all nail or
screw through one of
the holes in the pivot
m
ount. Leave the pivot
m
ount bolt
in position.
3. Lower the router and
base over the pivot
m
ount and refit the
washer and wing-nut.
4. With the power
switched
“
Off
”
, rotate
the router along the
intended path to check the circle, and
m
ake any necessary adjust
m
ents.
5. Cut the circle in
several passes,
lowering the cut
depth by say 2
mm
(1/16
”
) each pass. Do
not atte
m
pt to cut
deeply in one pass.
Through cuts
:
If cutting all the way
through the
m
aterial, fix a sacrificial board
to the underneath of your workpiece. Cut
the circle oversize, then when the cut is all
the way through, reduce the dia
m
eter and
work back to the desired size, using light,
full depth passes.

1. Mount the router securely into your
router table as detailed in your router
table instructions. Turn the table (with
router fitted) upside down.
2. With a

of your router table.
