Make sure that the device is switched off before
unplugging it.
•
Disconnect the power supply before transporting
the device.
Device-specific safety instructions
•
When operating the device ensure that the area
you are working in is clean and orderly.
•
When working with the device make sure the area
is well lighted.
•
Make sure that flammable or explosive materials
are kept out of the immediate vicinity.
•
Ensure that unauthorised persons are kept away
before putting the device into operation.
•
Do not overload the device. Only use the device
for its intended purpose.
•
Make sure you are positioned firmly and with a
natural stance when working with the device.
•
Make sure to remove all tools from the area
(wrenches etc.) before switching on the device.
•
Prevent overheating of the device and workpiece.
•
Position the power cable so that it cannot be
caught by the tool.
•
Always fix/clamp in the chainsaw so that it cannot
move.
•
Never grind away too much in one workstep, it is
better to use several worksteps with less grinding.
•
The device may only be used by one operator at
any one time.
•
Ensure that, during operation, no parts of the
body, clothing or jewellery can be caught and
drawn in by the rotating components.
•
Wear a hair net if you have long hair.
•
Always maintain sufficient distance to the grinding
wheel. Wait until the grinding wheel has come to
a standstill before you remove workpieces, dirt
etc. from the working range of the device.
•
Never leave the device running unattended.
•
The device may only be operated when firmly
mounted to a workbench.
•
Only use grinding wheels in perfect working order.
•
The device may only be operated in a grease-free
environment.
•
The device may only be operated in a frost-free
environment.
•
The rotation direction of the grinding wheel must
always correspond to the arrow marking on the
protective hood.
•
After switching off the grinding wheel never slow
down with hands or objects.
•
Remember that moving parts may also be located
behind ventilation and venting slots.
•
Symbols affixed to your tools may not be removed
or covered. Information on the device that is no
longer legible must be replaced immediately.
Residual risks
Even with proper use of the device and observance
of all safety regulations contained in these instruc-
tions, the following residual risks may occur:
•
Coming into contact with the running grinding
wheel in the unprotected area.
•
Kickback of workpieces and workpiece parts.
•
Flying sparks are created when metal is ground.
Risk of fire! Keep persons and flammable materi-
als away from flying sparks.
•
Caution when using chainsaws. Danger of cuts!

Assembly
Fasten device to workbench
– Push two sufficiently long screws (M8) through
the mounting holes (12) and screw the device
securely to the workbench as shown.
Attach rotary table
– Position adjustable rotary table (16) onto base
frame (11).
– Push through enclosed screw (17) from above.
Read the operating manual before using

Wear protective gloves
Pull out the power plug before conducting
any maintenance work on the device
