4.4 COMPRESSED AIR CONNECTION
Attention!
The operating pressure is 4-6 bar and must not be exceeded.
The compressed air must be clean and it should be enriched with oil
so that adequate lubrication is guaranteed. We therefore recommend
using oil according to the dynamic pressure principle with an adjustable
nozzle. 1 cm

consumption under normal conditions (see the following table).
A maintenance unit consisting of fi lters and oil as well as pressure
regulators connected between them (irrespective of initial pressure and
supporting reverse control with manometer) must be used. During selec-
tion, please pay attention to the fl ow volume, and the integration should
take place at a distance of less than 5 m from the pneumatic chain hoist.
Refi lling is possible under operation without having to switch off the
air cable.
For oil, we recommend using a resin and acid-free lubricant (SAE 5W -
SAE 10W), as viscous oils make the lamellae sticky, which aff ects the
start and effi
ciency of the motor.
The hose should have a minimum diameter of 19 mm. The air con-
nection is R1".
Under no circumstances may the wiring in the pendant control
be tampered with!
2. Shorten or lengthen the chain.
Attention:
Always remove or add an even number of chain links.
3. Close the connecting link again by bending it back.
