REVERSE position, towards the passenger, to operate the vehicle in the reverse direction. The engine can
be started only when the handle is in the NEUTRAL, or straight up, position. See WARNING and CAUTION
on page 18.
Club Car vehicles operate at a reduced speed in reverse. The reverse buzzer will sound as a warning when
the Forward/Reverse handle is in REVERSE.
ACCELERATOR PEDAL
The accelerator pedal is the pedal on the right, with the word GO molded into it (Figure 5, Page 19).
With the engine running and the Forward/Reverse handle in the FORWARD or REVERSE position, vehicle
speed will increase as the accelerator pedal is depressed. When the accelerator pedal is released, it will return
to the original position and the engine will drop back to idle. See WARNING and CAUTION on page 18.
BRAKE PEDAL
The brake pedal is the large pedal on the left with the word STOP molded into it (Figure 5, Page 19). To slow
or stop the vehicle, depress the brake pedal (Figure 6, Page 19).
PARK BRAKE
There are two park brakes on the Turf 2 XRT vehicle. The park brake handle is located on the floorboard to
the right of the accelerator pedal (Figure 6, Page 19). To set the hand brake, pull the park brake handle
down until park brake is fully engaged (1). To disengage, depress the button on the end of the handle and
return handle to upright position (2) (Figure 7, Page 20).
