Hot Food Box Operation and Care
HOT FOOD BOX OPERATION AND CARE
NOTE: The hot food box operates on 120 VAC and 12 VDC and must be pre-heated before operation.
The product must be pre-cooked and wrapped and placed into the pre-heated hot food box at 200 °F (93.3 °C).
PRE-HEATING
1. Remove shipping band securing the hot food box to the vehicle.
2. Remove hot food box from the vehicle.
3. Ensure hot food box (1) is completely empty.
4. Connect the AC power cord to AC receptacle (4) on the hot food box (1) and plug it into a 120-volt outlet
(Figure 47) .
5. Set the thermostat (2) for 200 °F (93.3 °C) and activate the ON-OFF switch (3) to ON for 30-45 minutes (Figure
47) .
6. The red AC indicator light (5) on the food box control panel will cycle on and off indicating the box is pre-heating
while plugged into a 120-volt outlet

OPERATION
1. Disconnect the AC power cord from the hot food box.
2. Place the food rack in the bottom of the hot food box.
3. Position the hot food box (1) into the tray mounted on the passenger-side floorboard (Figure 48) . Ensure the
controls and receptacles are oriented towards the driver-side.
4. Connect the 12-volt power cord (5) to the hot food box (1) and to the 12-volt accessory plug (Figure 48) .
5. The red 12-volt indicator light (6) will remain on while the food box is operating from the 12-volt accessory
plug
